Bushra Elsnousi
The sea of faith is calm tonight.
My train of thoughts runs with the trotting flow
Of time, escaping given perceivable sight,
Into the known;
Live and die within the fading light,
And relive your melancholic soliloquy,
Each night.
I’ve walked in the shoes of my predecessors,
Faced with the inextricabilities of space.
Hate is an inexorable driving wind
That often finds its ill-fitted place,
So, find me solace within the given dark trace.
Exist and aim to live,
Through monotonous glares of amber suns,
Brightening the scenes with delivered stuns.
There’s wholesome joy in children’s souls,
Which transcends life’s blue dyed walls.
