Our Purpose
Grassroots’ mission is to encourage new, upcoming artists and writers by providing opportunities for these artists to have their work professionally published by our team of editors. We publish both a physical and digital magazine twice a year, once per each collegiate semester. Our editing team consists purely of undergraduate students enrolled at Southern Illinois University—Carbondale who have a dedication to the creative arts and our contributors.
