Raindrops splash along the path.
Yellow ducklings waddle and bob
as they hurry behind the ducks.
Now and then, one looks around,
poking its way off course.
Just briefly. Another paddles back, bobbing
under a log, to
round the first back into line.
It follows, in time to slide
contentedly into the lake,
happily swimming after the others.
