I float, glide in the vast turquoise
Eyes below me look up and those above me look down
I feast on gelatinous shapes and nibble on tidbits of plants
I float; glide as the turquoise turns cerulean, then green
A fellow traveler, the same yet different, is gliding with me
I feel filled with the light of the stars overhead, oxygen
I am in a vortex of celestial time
The other traveler veers away, leaving pearls which I collect
I float and glide through something calling me, a magnetic pull I cannot escape
Through the vast turquoise, cerulean, green until clear; I glide until met with foam, then shifting solidness
I can no longer glide, I am heavy and it takes all my strength to move
I am driven by an inner cosmic light to find a place to put the collected pearls
I dig a hole and put them in under starlight then return to float and glide until the vortex returns.
